Home > Referrals
We acknowledge that our waiting lists can sometimes be quite extensive and we do not want this to prevent children and young people whose need is greatest from accessing our support. If you are a parent or a professional and would like to refer a child into a service then you can do so via this section and a member of our team will contact you within 14 days.
The Boathouse Youth will accept referrals from professionals (and in some cases parents or other adults) based on a child’s vulnerability.
If a referral is accepted this means we will fast-track the child’s involvement to the organisation, essentially by-passing the waiting list.
This is a fast track link for young people requiring immediate support therefore unable to wait in accordance with the waiting list. Sessions are fast paced, high energy with lots of young people present.Â
This is a service for children and young people with additional and behavioural needs. The group sizes are much smaller with a higher staffing ratio. Sessions are delivered in a much more nurturing setting.Â
Due to the high-demand for our services, assessments will be made based on the severity and quantity of the risk factors below.
attendances were recorded in 2023
individual young people benefited in 2023
sessions were delivered throughout 2023
children and young people are currently living in poverty
