What a team, what a journey!

Our Staff Team have recently returned from their January Summit 2025, the majority of which was spent in the beautiful Lake District town of Ambleside.

This time has been used to perform the internal launch of our brand-new strategy Young People: Front & Centre | 2025 – 2030 which sets out our plan to create a world-class youth work infrastructure for Blackpool and the Fylde Coast over the next 5-years.

As a values-driven organisation it’s essential our team fully embodies the principles we bring to all aspects of our work. Part of the powerful workshops our staff participated in have reaffirmed the vital roles our values play in shaping how we deliver our mission.

The residential created the conditions for incredible conversations, debates and learning moments that could only happen in a setting like this.

Our team has shown outstanding commitment to embracing a new and improved way of working. We’ve emphasised that whilst the “product” of The BHY remains much the same, our processes are evolving – ensuring we stay true to who we are whilst growing stronger.
